about

This is a re-recording of the very first Platoon 1107 song ever recorded. It was done for a 7” vinyl compilation called “Kickin It Old School” and was released by the great record label Veritas Vinyl in 2012 (yo, Jesse!). It is still my favorite Platoon song to date. I also made a music video for this song that went somewhat “viral” for a short amount of time (like 12,000 Youtube views in 2 days thanks in part to the hilarious Marine Corp themed website Terminal Lance). Serving in the United States Marine Corps will always be one of my proudest accomplishments, and this song is a tribute to those who came before me, served with me, and continue to serve even today. Semper Fi!

lyrics

First to enter, Last to leave
No greater weapon than a U.S. Marine
Semper Fi
The few and the proud
First to fight
Ooh Rah
