Almost exacly eight years ago from today (as of this writing), I got horrible news that my Dad had an advanced cancer that would quickly take his life, I documented my own struggles and emotions during that period of time via Anchorhold, a project I created specifically for that purpose. In the spirit of journal-keeping, four songs were written at particular points during that six-month journey to chronicle specific circumstances and memories. Contemplative, cathartic, visceral, emotive, and intensely personal, these songs are a look into the heart of a son who was about to lose his beloved father.

These songs were originally released in demo form in 2016, as an official release on The Fear And The Void Recordings in 2018, and now remixed and remastered here in 2024.
